HS Field Trip Reflection

The HS Field Trip For our field trip, we went to the high school to record our own version of the song Imagine ( By: John Lennon) We were the first of the Zug campus to get to go to the high schools recording room. We recorded our song correctly on the 4th take. We did it fast enough so we got to add percussion and a guitar solo to our song. I think it went really well and I think that the high school is a really cool place, I wish we went to school there. Here are some pictures from our trip to the recording studio. Here is the final song.

German Poster Reflection

For this German unit we made posters about endangered animals, I made a poster about the western Gorillas. These Gorillas are endangered because the hunters kill them because they think there body parts are magical charms or medicine. They also die because there habitats are getting destroyed. My poster has the message, save the Gorillas. The baby gorilla is thinking, "where is mama?"

5R Assembly Reflection

5R Assembly Reflection For our assembly we focused on our unit, HWEO, and the central idea, change can occur when artists align themselves with issues and opportunities. I was part of the metal heads as a headbanger. It was really fun just getting to crazy in front of almost 300 people. I also made a teensy weensy little mistake when I was saying my lines in front of everyone, I thought that is was really embarrassing, but I was reassured by my parents that I was fine. PMI Chart P: Positives M: Minuses I: Ideas P: I learned how to use my voice better in front of a large crowd. I also thought that the skits where all great, and the way we presented our unit was great as well, I also thought that the slide show we used was great, and my parents were there. M: I learned that certain skits need more practice than others, for example, the Banksy skit could have used some more practice, but it was still absolutely awesome. Another minus was that almost our whole week was tak...

HWEO Maths Reflection

Maths Reflection Rectangle Tangle Things that I found interesting, and important I found it interesting that we could fold the page to get some of the answers. I thought it was important that we made a list of the shapes and what fraction of the rectangle they were. I also thought it was interesting that some shapes required harder thinking to find the fraction that they were. For the rectangle tangle we had to find the F, D, and P's for the certain shapes fit into the rectangle. Colour: Blue I chose the colour blue, because I thought it represented that I was successful in the rectangle tangle. Symbol: Light Bulb Smiley Face I chose this symbol because I thought that it represented that we had to think but we also had fun at the same time. Image: Tangled Rectangle
